For over 20 years I've been catching Trophy Channel Catfish in the Madison Chain of Lakes (includes Lake Mendota, Lake Monona, Yahara River, Upper Mud Lake & Lake Waubesa) and the Wisconsin River (Sauk City area). Born on the mighty Mississippi River in Rosedale, Mississippi, I learned my craft from some of the best Mississippi River Catmen. I've combined that knowledge and my years of hands on experience to create the Catfish King Guide Service.
Fishing is more than a hobby. For me, it's a way of life. While Blue Gills, Crappies, Bass, Walleyes, white bass are also fun to catch and great eating, catfishing is the true challenge. Pound for pound channel catfish fight hard, making it a fun and rewarding experience. On my tours, you will have the opportunity to catch a 15+ lb. catfish.
Catching a 20 lb. catfish is not uncommon. My personal record catfish was 41 lbs. (inhaled a 9-inch sucker).
